Alcohol Detoxification Program Details

The first step on your path to an addiction-free life is safe and effective detoxification. When your body becomes physically dependent on alcohol, it can be dangerous to stop consuming it without professional supervision. The potential effects of alcohol withdrawal, including seizures, vomiting, and depression, must be properly managed to ensure your recovery process is safely initiated.

The Vance Johnson Recovery Center’s alcohol detoxification program specializes in providing safe, effective, and comfortable detoxification for alcohol addiction. Under the supervision of expert counselors that support you through every step of the process, the Vance Johnson Recovery Center will create an individualized detox plan for you and put you on the road to recovery.

Core Components of the Alcohol Detox Program

Your safety is our number one priority throughout the detoxification process. The entire detox will be performed over the course of five to seven days under the supervision of addiction specialists, physicians, and mental health counselors.

We know that no two individuals are the same and assess the unique needs of every patient during intake. Your detox plan will be tailored to you, your health, and stage of addiction.

There’s no question that detoxifying your body of alcohol will be challenging. We make the process easier on you by providing a comfortable environment where you can sleep soundly, eat well, and have the support of counselors.

At the Vance Johnson Recovery Center, we treat alcohol dependency in individuals from all walks of life, and place the utmost importance on maintaining our clients’ privacy. When you come to us for treatment, rest assured that your personal information will be kept strictly confidential. Whether you’re a military veteran, professional athlete, high-profile figure, or an ordinary individual seeking to regain control of your life, we guarantee your privacy.

What Happens After Alcohol Detox?

Inpatient residential rehabilitation is an intensive form of treatment for drug and alcohol addiction that is done after the medically supervised detox phase of your program.  The transition occurs after our medical staff evaluates each client and usually involves an extended time period for treatment, regardless of which substance was used. Each program’s length is dependent on the individual client’s needs. During inpatient residential treatment clients are required to stay in our community housing for the entirety of the program where they will receive 24/7 monitoring.  This program focuses on individual therapy, group therapy, activity therapy, and preparing our clients for sobriety after addiction treatment.
